I WANT to love this series so badly。 I’ll read the 3rd one。 But I feel like in service of the surprise reveals and secrecy， Emilia is sacrificed。 At every turn of the book， she acts like a complete fool。 “I’m going to go into this place that I don’t know a thing about， bumble around getting myself into all sorts of trouble， not ask anyone ANY questions because I’m soooo smart， and come to wild conclusions based on pure speculation”。 I don’t know the last time I rolled my eyes this much at a main I WANT to love this series so badly。 I’ll read the 3rd one。 But I feel like in service of the surprise reveals and secrecy， Emilia is sacrificed。 At every turn of the book， she acts like a complete fool。 “I’m going to go into this place that I don’t know a thing about， bumble around getting myself into all sorts of trouble， not ask anyone ANY questions because I’m soooo smart， and come to wild conclusions based on pure speculation”。 I don’t know the last time I rolled my eyes this much at a main characters choices。But I love the concept and I love the princes…。 So I’m going to stick with it for the 3rd…… 。。。more

4。5⭐️ but I’m rounding up on this one because it was only like 2-3 chapters keeping it from being a 5 for me。 There was no “build-up to the plot” like there was in the first book， which was nice。 And although some things were very easy to figure out， it didn’t really bother me that much。 Stayed up late into the night unable to put it down， so I’d say this was a definite win。 Also Wrath is delicious。

3。5 - 4 not sure yet。 The twist lowkey did get me cause everything else in the series has been kinda easy to see coming。 But I really did like the last act。 I wish there was less sexual scenes they just put the book lower for me， I wanted more mystery and fantasy。 Though， I adore wrath as a love interest。 King of consent and literally the biggest simp to exist <3。 Excited to see the finale

People should know that while Kingdom of the Wicked was YA， Kingdom of the Cursed is most definitely not。 Like it wasn’t the smuttiest thing I’ve ever read but it was definitely unexpected （don’t ask me why I was shocked to find spicy scenes in a book about hell the 7 deadly sins）。 Again， I know it’s not the best piece of literature but I gotta give it 4。5 stars because I was totally sucked in。 Very very excited for Kingdom of the Feared。

I will always love Wrath and Emilia’s relationship， I love their building tension and banter。 The plot twist at the end was to die for。 I can’t wait for the next book to come out。 Favorite Quote: “And there is nothing more dangerous than love， is there？ People fight for it。 They die for it。 They commit acts or war and treason and all manner of sin in its name。”

4。5 stars Well this was a lot steamier than the first book and I am here for it！！ As indicated at the end of the first book Emilia goes to hell betrothed to the devil。 She is trying to find out what truly happened to her sister but finds there’s more to the situation than meets the eye。 I loved the riddles she was trying to solve and while I figured out a couple of the twists there were still plenty that caught me off guard。 Can’t wait to read the conclusion

Loved this book！！ In my opinion， Kingdom of the Cursed was better than Kingdom of the Wicked。 It was much more mature than Kingdom of the Wicked。 I loved the slow burn between Emilia and Wrath。 I especially loved the plot twists！！ Can’t wait for the third book！

4。5This book was incredible！ I love how it answered some questions but still raised a bunch more to make us question how everything will eventually unfold。 I did manage to guess one thing but was completely blindsided by two other plot twists which i absolutely adore。 I love guessing and being proven correct about the plot of a book but there’s something amazing about being surprised。 Speaking now about what truly matters: I love Wrath。 I am now owned by WrathEmilia。
